Gloria died in 2001. This was the first time I conducted a funeral for a classmate, and it happened way too soon. We were in school together from early on, our sons played ball together, and she was a good friend.
Gloria married Frank "Bucky" Libbey, one of our Upton classmates, and he died in 2009. Both good people who died too young.
