I sure remember a lot about the Bioligy Class, and don't ask me why because I don't know.  I did get a B, however.  Anyhow, I also remember the 40 Wildflowers we had to collect.  We went off into the woods for hours at a time. found a wildflower, brought it home, pressed it, and then placed in on a sheet, date it an labeled it.  Not sure if we had to use common name as well as scientific name. My favorite was Jack in the Pulpit.  Any how after we looked in the local woods, we had to get our parents to drive us out into neighborhood woods and help us look.  Got posion ivy, moscito bites, and panic when we only had a few more to go.  Don't know how many classmates still have their 40 Wildflower book in their closets next to their prom pictures but sure would like to know.
