In Grammar School each Friday we had to attend Miss Calahan's Music Class.  Don't know if we were suppose to become great singers, or to just make some noise and call it singing.  I do remember she would split the class in half and seperate us into two groups.  Then we would sing Frere Jacques (Brother John).  One half would sing Frere Jacqaues, Frere Jacques, and the other half would reply Dormez-vous, Domez-vous. then back again, Ding, Dang, Dong, back again Ding,, Dang, Dong.  Then into English.  That old song has stuck with me all these years.  There were some other classics which evade me now.  I could have become a rock singer if I had practice more.
